Biftekia - meatballs in the oven

Loved recipe by the Greeks...
And I am sure from whoever tastes them...

Minced meat with onions and vegetables mixed with your hands and then in the oven with potatoes.

Simple and tasty and with a lot of options to change the level...
You can put tomato sauce, soft cheese, blue cheese, mustard and goes on---

You will need

500gr minced meat i prefer half beef half lamp put the half pork half beef is also tasty.
2 onions grated
1 egg
half courgette grated
1 glove garlic grated if you wish
bread crumbs (about 1 cup)
1/4 cup water
2 spoons olive oil
salt
pepper
oregano
mint
half spoon of cumin
1 spoon of cinnamon

Mix all the ingredients together and mix with your hands...
If you have any cuts or burns put some gloves cause it will be hurtful.

Then with your hands shape your biftekia as you see in the picture above...
Remember after baking they are going to be smaller of the first size.

The best combination you can do is to put some potatoes with them to the oven.
I buy Bio potatoes and I use the skin cause it makes them more tasty. If you are not sure
about the origin of the potatoes you have just pill them of.

Put in the oven for about 1 hour with some water..

Try to serve it with feta cheese.

Ok ! I am hungry now!
